Solar Smart Order
A guided solar sizing and ordering journey that takes a customer from load information to a priced order.
The problem
Sizing and quoting a solar system depended on back-and-forth with the sales team, spreadsheets, and inconsistent assumptions, which slowed customers down and made estimates hard to compare.
Intended users: Prospective solar customers, and the sales and technical teams who prepare estimates.
The solution
A structured application that collects the customer's load profile, recommends an appropriate system capacity, applies benchmark pricing, and carries the customer through to an order.
My contribution
- Defined the sizing logic and the pricing benchmarks the tool applies
- Designed the customer journey from load capture to order
- Built and iterated the application
How AI was used
AI-assisted specification, interface generation, and iteration on the sizing and pricing logic.
Result
Estimates become consistent and self-service, shortening the path from enquiry to order. Evidence being prepared.
